Okay... It's fair to say I've been on an extended break from my blog, but I'm glad to announce I'm back and it's full steam ahead!
In truth, my absence has been down to a lack of time to really get involved in posting regularly. But that's all in the past now, and I hope that whatever you see here is of interest to men in their 40s (and over) who are looking for some style inspiration. In fact, not just middle-aged men like myself, but anyone who is looking for lots of everyday looks that can be pulled off by the Average Joe. >>
Going forward, I hope to be posting regularly on a Monday morning - if you wish to receive an email every time I publish something new, click here to stay in the loop!
Layering with a denim jacketTo me, this is an easy look for most men to carry off - white shirt, jeans, check shirt and denim jacket, added to this a really nice pair of boots (similar). I find that brown is more appealing than black as it gives a warmer look to the outfit especially when paired with your favourite go-to brown leather belt.
You do have to be careful with double denim, and the best way of breaking this up is by having an untucked contrasting shirt such as a vibrant red buffalo plaid shirt - a solid, classic choice that is timeless and never goes out of style.
