The statement of two strong colours opposing each other gives this outfit a very solid appearance and the rich dark denim is always a winner. Brogues are brogues and need to be worn at every possible moment so they'll always work in my book. The shirt is understated and the stripe within it does enough to give the overall look a subtle smart slant... (try saying THAT when you've had a few)!! >>
So, with a look as easy as this you're ready to hit the social scene confident in your "dual-colour" ensemble... stand back, I'm coming through.
If you had to choose two (and only two colours) to wear together, what would they be? Let me know, I'd like to see if it's a common occurrence...

Another great post! While reading it I remembered how many years ago I was obsessed with a tan coloured belt I got as a 'hand me down' from a friend. It was still as good as new and it even had a special storage space in my wardrobe. Why exactly, I don't really know but I think it's got to do with the colour which sort of radiates warmth and comfort, doesn't it? ;-) Awesome shots, as always!
ReplyDeleteHi Ged, I know what you mean about a tan belt radiating a warmth. It took me a while to find one I liked, (and generally I'm not that fussy) but it had to be just right. I'll be sure to pass on your lovely comments to my photographer (wife) she'll be over the moon!
DeleteTake care and I'll speak to you again soon, I'm sure.
