Welcome to Silver Londoner - My First Post

Hi there, my name is Keith and I'm a British blogger born in the great city of London, (as I write this, I can't get the image of Oliver Twist out of my head....that is definitely NOT me)!

This is a sojourn in to my personal style, where I shall be endeavouring to post those things that make me feel good about myself. Why go to all the trouble? Well, I've found that as I move forever onwards through my forties, I want to wear "nice" clothes more and more. >>

I just feel that I can dispense with unremarkable clothing and put a "pep" in my step with complementary attire... so, here we are, one blog... let us begin!!

      Nothing like the man to be admired also by his own wife. This is priceless. Actually, you present very happy combinations of clothes. Some pieces, separately, I do not like, but within the combination you present here, these clothes gain a new look and look lovely.

    My husband, although much older than you, has the same sentiment: He feels a desire to dress nicer himself. And congrats on the blog. Hubby and I both love Catherine's, am sure we'll love yours as well.

      Charlene, my thanks to you for such lovely comments. I certainly have found that as I get older, I want to dress better. I think it was Tom Hardy who was quoted as saying something about dressing smartly is a sign of good manners..I'll take that!

    My husband's already signed on to receive your blog by email, dear Keith!! He's worked really hard this year to lose 30 lbs; and although I am SUPER proud of him, I'm a little disappointed that he's kind of living in running shoes (trainers) and exercise gear right now!! I'm counting on you to inspire him to "up the ante" style-wise!! ;)
