Michael Caine Style Glasses, Knitted Tie and Skinny Jeans, Over 40 Menswear

I've been asked to review these Michael Caine style glasses by Specspost and can honestly say that they are extremely comfortable and (as the name suggests) are styled in the iconic shape that is synonymous with our very own London legend! Normally, I find I have an issue with finding the right frame size to fit me knowing I'll have to wear them most of the day.

In choosing these glasses, the choice of style and sizing was straightforward and easy to follow; these spectacles are a lovely minimalistic shape and feel very masculine. >>

I've ventured into the realms of a knitted tie and skinny jeans for the first time and have been surprised at how nice they are. I'm not one for wearing really tight "trendy" trousers so these were a big step in that direction for me. As for the tie, well I wasn't too sure if this even made sense... how wrong I was, the texture in the knit really gives an organic feel to the outfit!

I have to say this pair of La Redoute two-tone boots really looks the business this season and the soft leather means they're incredibly comfortable.

To conclude, this ensemble is strong and works really well for this time of year... a little layering and you could very well take this outfit into the seriously cold months.

Tell me, do you do skinny jeans? I'm not sure whether they're a younger man's jean of choice or whether they're also embraced by the 40 something chap. Let me know!
