So let's be thankful to the power and awesomeness of "double denim", top it off with a pair of desert boots and... voila! I give you a considerable improvement on this eighties sinful creation. >>
I think I'll be wearing this combi quite a bit over the next few months, being both comfortable and durable for the colder season, you can add a scarf or hat and guess what... it'll look fine, I promise.
Do you have a garment in your wardrobe that should stay hidden for evermore, a velvet suit perhaps or some lederhosen. Let me know here... If you dare!

I love the denim shirt! The fit and wash is perfect and I love how it looks with the neutral coloured dessert boots. :)

Hi Daniella, thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. You're absolutely spot on regarding the wash of the denim, anything more "stonewashed" and it would've looked really dated. The boots are really comfy too so I think they're gonna see a lot of use over the next few months!
DeleteBy the way, you're blog photos are really good, the composition and lighting work in every shot! Your boyfriend / photographer gets a well done, (and manly pat on the back) from me!
Have a great weekend!

Fantastic denim on denim style! Very clean look, and I love the pop up white t-shirt around your neck. Great outfit. :))

Thanks Kenji, you have to get the style right to make double denim work don't you. A good observation on the "white pop" too, I think a plain white tee works so well with this classic fabric.

Funny how denim-on-denim was considered a faux-pas not that long ago, right Keith?? Proof positive that in fashion, everything old is new again...but this look is definitely waaay better the second time around!! :)

Oh Monika, you really are too kind...but I agree, this time around there seems to be more emphasis on differentiating denim trends rather than..."here ya go, have some stonewashed denim... job done!".
